Brand Identity
This project reimagines the brand identity of RENFE, Spain’s national railway network, through the lens of light, time, and movement. Inspired by Spain’s intense sunlight, the system captures the shifting position, intensity, and spread of light as it changes throughout a journey, from sunrise to sunset, marking the rhythm of travel. This concept is translated into a graphic language of angular forms that represent light entering and expanding across space at different moments in time. Each composition is framed by the rounded rectangular proportions of train windows, referencing the view from inside the carriage. Applied across signage, icons, and environmental graphics, directional elements extend like rays of light to guide movement. The result is a cohesive visual system that transforms navigation into an experience of traveling through light.
