Nespresso — Re:Present

BX Design, Spatial Design This project explores how Nespresso’s commitment to sustainability can be communicated through immersive brand experiences and spatial design. A fictional VIP event, Eco Home Café, invites guests to engage with circular living through upcycled artworks, DIY workshops, and curated sensory moments. Printed materials, product packaging, and interactive touchpoints build a cohesive system rooted in ritual and reuse. In parallel, a wayfinding system for Nespresso’s office reimagines the capsule’s iconic form and aluminum texture as directional graphics. By translating material identity into spatial navigation, the design strengthens brand presence within the workplace. Together, the two projects form a unified BX system that brings Nespresso’s values to life—visually, spatially, and emotionally.

Part 1. Eco Home Cafe

Cycle of Re:Use This motion graphic, inspired by the underside geometry of a Nespresso capsule, visualizes the cycle of use, reuse, recycling, and upcycling. It represents how a single material can continuously take on new forms—being consumed, repurposed, and reborn again—echoing the brand’s commitment to circularity.

Home Cafe Album Package This personalized ‘Take-Home Experience Kit’ was designed as a take-home gift following the Eco Home Café event. It includes a styling guide for creating your own home café, a booklet introducing featured upcycling artists, consultation cards, and a personalized CD playlist curated based on each guest’s mood and preferences.
Key materials—including the playlist CD and printed components—were developed and prototyped as branded mockups to extend the multisensory brand experience into the home.

Part 2. Office Wayfinding

Nespresso Wayfinding Signage This office wayfinding system was designed around the keyword "premium," drawing inspiration from the metallic visuals and textures of Nespresso’s aluminum coffee capsules. The capsule’s form and surface qualities were translated into a graphic motif, which was applied across directional signage to reflect the brand’s material identity within a workplace context.
